Homesick and Iatrophobic

Luca had been dressed, and ready to go for that afternoon's appointment for three hours by then, but still he sat on the edge of the bed, unable to move, and trembling. He'd thought coming to the US would provide him with a chance at better care, but the truth of the matter was being in a new home, in a new country, on his way to see a new doctor, in a new hospital only caused him a great deal of stress, which of course wasn't good for his heart, at all. "M-Mon amour?" Luca stammered, "I'm not so sure I can do this anymore...Je veux rentrer chez moi..."

((Translation: "I want to go home..."))

Grayson sighed softly and sat next to his boyfriend. "Tesoro I know you want to go home, but this place is the best place to get you better Tesoro..." He wrapped his arm tightly around him.

"Mon amour, p-please...find us a flight, take me home," Luca pleaded, chest already beginning to tighten. "I can't do this..."

"Tesoro... It is too stressful back home... All those people bothering you..." Grayson rubbed his back, "You need to breath and take one of your pills, I can tell your chest is hurting love..."

"This new place is too stressful!" said Luca, whimpering softly. "I can't do this. Why did I let them talk me into this."

"Because we looked over the different places to go love and this was the best place, it has good doctors and the press can't get in." Grayson kissed the top of his head.

"H-Hold me?" Luca asked, trembling. "I just want to go home, back to our home, our bed, our life...I just want things to be normal, Hero..."

Grayson hugged him close, "Leander... We have to stay here for a while, we can make our own home here til we return."

"Vous restez avec moi, vous avez promis?" Luca asked quietly.

"Of course I will, you know I will never leave your side." Grayson swore to him.

Luca squeezed his eyes shut tight. "Ch-Chest..."

Grayson quickly reached for the pills and the water bottle he kept on hand at all times.

Luca let out a tiny, pained whimper.

"Luca here's your pills." Grayson held them out to him.

He thought about protesting at first, but took them.

"That's my Leander." Grayson said with a soft smile.

"Th-Thank you, Hero..." said Luca with a tiny smile.

Grayson smiled, "Your welcome." He kissed the top of his head again and hugged him close, "Its almost time to go."

A small, nervous nod. "I know..."

"This hospital is a very good one they say, the Doctor is very good too." Grayson rubbed his back softly.

Luca closed his eyes, and tried to steady his breathing. He was extremely iatrophobic.

"I will be with you the whole time Leander." Grayson said softly.

"I-I know..." stammered Luca, slowly standing.

Grayson stood before hugging him close, "I love you."

"I love you, too," murmured Luca, wrapping his arms around the older man's waist.
