Doctor's Orders V2: Rules

• Respect the opinions of all the other members. No disrespect of any kind will be tolerated. If you have problems with a member try to work out these problems amongst yourselves before consulting an administrator.
  

• Notify an administrator if you are going to be away from the forum for and extended period of time so your accounts can be saved. Accounts will be deleted after extended periods of inactivity (a month or more) Every two weeks, a mid month activity check will be held to notify members what accounts will be in danger of being deleted if they are not used within the next two weeks. Inactive, or dropped characters will be eligible for adoption until the next mid month activity check, if they are not taken by then, they will be permanently removed.
  

• Register your character accounts with full name in all lowercase. If your character's name exceeds the username character limit, contact an administrator to discuss the alternative.
  

• On this site we speak in third person past tense. It’s easier to understand what’s going on if we all post the same.
  

• Please check your posts for spelling and grammar errors. We understand if it’s late and you are tired, but try to keep it under control.
  

• Please post all applications, relationship trackers, wanted ads, and etc with the character account used in said post.
  

• Cursing is allowed, but keep it reasonable
  

• Ask a person to do a topic with you before you post it
  

• If your topic contains, or you think will later contain heavy sexual references, adult content, or possibly triggering content please place a warning in the topic description, and put a warning tag in your topic title. For example [M] for adult content, and [TW: self harm, rape, whatever trigger warning needed] The Modify topic title feature is turned on, so if you need to tag it midway through a thread, you can. I will not tolerate untagged triggers.
  

• There is no character limit
  

• Try not to have all the same character type
  

• Do not create a character related to someone in any way (sibling, boyfriend, girlfriend) without asking that person first
  

• Relationships on this site are not limited to one relationship per character
  

• Make sure all characters are okay with a storyline before you post it.
  

• Please do not play both members of a couple. This defeats the purpose of role play. If you play two characters and you wish to do a topic with them. PM an administrator and have them temporarily change the password to one of the accounts and ask another member to play that character for you.
  

• Please make sure you fill out all claims relevant to your character. It makes things easier for staff to keep updated.
  

• Graphics such as gifs and signatures are allowed, but they should not stretch the width of the board. There is no limit, but the administrators reserve the right to ask you to shorten your signature if they feel it is too long. In the profile is a section for graphics credit, please, even if you made the graphics yourself, state so in this section, or credit the artist if you had them made for you.
  

• Advertising is allowed on this board, but please do it in the proper section, and only post your ad if we can post ours back on your board
  

• You may play both fictional, and real life celebrities
  

• Keep in mind that this is a real life based RP, meaning things work as they would for us. If your character is drinking/on drugs etc, they're going to suffer side effects from doing so. Characters stick to proper gender limitations, e.g. men are typically (but not always) stronger than women (a guy who works out is obviously going to be physically stronger than some regular skinny person) and only females are able to give birth. We have an extreme Alternate universes section for plots outside the grasp of reality.
